Off Page SEO
SEO means Search Engine Optimization. SEO is a process, which enables you to ensure a favorably prominent position for your website in SERPs (search engine results pages). SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a process to increase your website’s visibility in search engines for those important keywords that are relevant to your business. The Avg. traffic which is come in to your website is 80 to 85% from search engine. So SEO could play a big role for your Internet business.
There is two type of process in SEO. First one is On Page SEO Process and second one is Off Page SEO Process. Now we discussing only on Off Page Process.
The most important part of off page SEO is that getting inbound link and back links for our website. Off Page SEO is that, what we do for website leaving the website pages. Off Page SEO is use to getting high rank for targeted keywords. There are besically 3 processes in off page process.
1) Directory Submission
2) Bookmark
3) Blog Commenting
Directory Submission: Directory submission play very important role to getting permanent back link.
Dmoz.org is a most popular free directory submission site. If your site is listed in Dmoz, definitely your site gets high advantage in search engine. Yahoo directory, Information.com, Searchitfast.com are some most important Directory site.
Bookmark: Bookmarking also plays a good role to getting good traffic for your website. There are many popular bookmarking sites where your site can get high traffic and inbound link. delicious.com, stumbleupon.com, digg.com, reddit.com, claimed.com are some most popular bookmarking website.
Blog Commenting: Using blog commenting on dofollow blogs we can get temporary back links. If we do comment regularly we can maintain our back links. Use keywords in place of name for getting advantage. Most important thing is that comment on those blog which have some relevant to your web site.

You can also get some great traffic from websites like Twitter , facebook if you market your site properly on these website it can get huge response, although directory submission is kind of dead now but book marking and blog commenting can get you some backlinks only if you very regular about it. Again Forum is a very important medium and can gain you some good number of visitors by always leaving a link just below your views.Press release can help at initial stages but not in a long run.

Off page is definitely very important, but on page is more important than that. I your on page factors are weak, your website will be loosing credibility on search engines.

Off page is important, and their is no denying that fact BUT a new site with excellent optimisation can actually leapfrog (and stay there) many more established sites so onpage should never be underestimated IMO

It seems that its all about Off-Site these days….
The most important factor is solid backlinking. There are many ways of getting solid backlinks as you mentioned in your article…I would also like to add in that you can get high PR backlinks from many social networks… For instance Xoops.com will give you a free PR 8 backlink….
