The first mistake that comes to mind is overuse of keywords in articles, blogs, etc. The search engines will immediately regard this as spam and your web page rank will take a big hit. Sprinkle your key words throughout your article only once for each keyword or keyword phrase. Make sure you bold, underline and italized them.
