What is the best SEO Software?

This is a question I get from almost every client. I never really know how to answer that question. There are number of the SEO tools I have used, depending on the site I am optimizing. I wrote about a number of the SEO Tools on this blog. I wrote about the Stompernet Site Seer, a whole list of Google SEO tools like Google Webmaster Tools, KeywordSpy and many others.

It is pretty hard to pin point what the best seo software really is. There are too many different factors to consider and it basically comes down to your specific needs and also how much hands on do you want to be when it comes to optimizing websites. Or web pages I should say. If you are starting out in SEO optimization, it is advisable to at least get your basics covered before you look for a software to help streamline your processes, otherwise you could end up spinning your wheels, spending several hours trying to learn a piece of software and using it incorrectly.

But to answer the question – What is the best SEO Software, I simply cannot. I just realized I never even wrote a blog post about a single SEO Software package. Are WebCEO, SEOElite, Internet Business Promoter (IBP), SEO Suite, SEO Studio, and a long list of other SEO Software packages really not worth an article?

In my point of view there is no SEO Software that does it all even for one type of the web site.
